About this Role 

The Talent team at Sentry ensures the best product and business are built by the best team. We’re looking for an experienced recruiter to help our tiny team of two build out the DNA of our growing family of <100 employees. You’ll take candidates from intro to offer, building your own robust and creative candidate pipelines and ensuring an amazing experience for all. As our Candidate Whisperer™, you will:
  • Serve as candidates’ first and constant point of contact at Sentry
  • Source, engage, and nurture relationships with passive talent: you hate thoughtless reachouts and love thoughtful persistence
  • Advise hiring managers on hiring strategies and processes that are transparent, data-driven, and results-oriented
  • Own much more than just day-to-day candidate management; you love building out initiatives and analyzing data to drive successful talent operations and programs 
  • Keep diversity top of mind and continually seeking ways to discover and engage with talent from underrepresented backgrounds to drive our values forward

  • 5+ years experience in full-cycle recruiting across different roles (you can negotiate an offer and compare potential equity packages in your sleep)
  • Experience at a tech startup or other high-growth environment (you’re scrappy and results-driven)
  • Experience driving recruiting strategy and/or execution of major recruiting initiatives (ex: employer brand, engineering interviewer training, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing recruiting data and/or building out reports

  • Experience recruiting and/or sourcing for engineering/technical roles
  • Experience recruiting for SaaS/B2B companies
