About this Role

Sentry’s business development team works with Sentry’s external partners and handles special projects across Sentry’s business lines. Ever wanted to be a special agent, investigator, and a diplomat—but, you know, at a startup? This role might be for you.

If you are a strategic bridge-builder who loves qualitative problem-solving and wants to impact tens of thousands of developers, start thinking of your new hire gif now!

As our trusted BD Manager, you will:
  • Work with Sentry’s top partners. Develop the long-term business case for partnership and find new opportunities to collaborate
  • Find new partners for Sentry, using your smarts to both evaluate both opportunities and create new ones
  • Execute on new partnerships that support our core product and engineering roadmaps
  • Create and develop partner marketing channels, in deep collaboration with our core Marketing team

 You’ll love this job if:
  • You love “digging in” and owning solutions to tough, amorphous problems
  • You have the intellectual flexibility to “zoom out” and see high-level strategy/goals, and “zoom in” to execute on individual, detailed projects
  • You want to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering, all day every day
  • “Watching” and learning about the industry or space your company operates in gets you excited about what your company is building
