Our People Operations Team is responsible for creating an excellent people-first employee experience and keeping our global teams healthy, happy, and engaged through impactful and forward-thinking People programs. We're looking for a Senior HR Generalist to help support our teams as we scale. This is a unique and highly impactful opportunity to work across several teams and supporting employees in all of our San Francisco, Toronto, Seattle and Vienna offices.

In this role you will:

  • Provide a warm welcome and high-touch experience to new hires, manage and run our on-boarding program and activities
  • Ensure the Company is following all locale-based laws and is in compliance at all times, in our main Sentry locations - US, Canada, Austria
  • Lead day-to-day HR activities, internal compliance and HR policies, handle employment-related inquiries from employees, oversee health and safety compliance, and handle all workers compensation claims
  • Manage full suite of employee benefits and coordinate renewal packages, enrollments, leaves of absence, changes and terminations, and monthly bills reconciliation
  • Coordinate other projects as needed such as updating Employee Handbook and HR wiki pages, and creating timelines for Open Enrollment

  • 4-6 years of relevant HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of legal compliance, federal and local laws
  • LOA / Benefit administration experience
  • Visa sponsorship and immigration experience
  • An uncanny ability to spot problems and inefficiencies and quickly find strategic solutions before they cascade
  • Embrace a growth mindset and can find learning lessons in unexpected failures
  • Ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines and maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability in technology software such as Asana, G Suite, Trello, HRIS platforms (Namely preferred)
  • HR Certification or BA in Human Resources
  • Bonus points: experience in managing a small / growing team
