You can now define alerts and build dashboards based on log queries — now available to all beta Logs users.

This update makes it easier to monitor application behavior using the logs you’re already sending to Sentry. Whether you're tracking error patterns, job throughput, or usage anomalies, you can now query your logs and:

• Trigger alerts when specific log patterns spike (e.g. DatabaseError, rate-limited, timeout)
• Watch for drops in log volume that might indicate a silent failure
• Filter by release, env, or custom fields to monitor key segments

You can also enable anomaly detection on log-based metrics to automatically catch unexpected changes over time — no static thresholds needed.

How to Get Started

• Set up Logs (if you haven’t already)
• Go to Explore > Logs and run a query
• Click “Save as” in the top right Choose either:
  • “An alert for…” to define an alert based on the query
  • “A dashboard widget” to track the data over time
