If you're an admin of an organization using the Sentry GitHub App, you may have recently received an email asking you to approve** two additional permissions**: Checks and Commit Statuses.

These updated permissions are part of Sentry’s effort to expand functionality and enhance future GitHub integrations. Your current Sentry setup will continue to work normally even if you choose not to accept the new permissions—but doing so may limit your access to upcoming features.
