This UX lets you easily filter and search for any span or trace samples while visualizing your preferred metric like avg or p90 of span.duration. You can freely aggregate any numeric span attribute. If you switch to Aggregates you can then group you metrics by any span attribute. Here's an example use case: Track checkout flows with cart_value or payment_method, surface which high-value checkouts are lagging, and triage instantly.
