As part of our rollout of Seer, which powers Autofix, we’re making an update to how you grant permissions to enable generative AI features like Seer. Starting today, any member of your organization can enable Seer — no Owner role required.

We’re making this change because we’ve reached a level of production readiness where we can now expand access. This change aligns Seer with how other permissions work in Sentry: allowing top-level controls for Owner roles while reducing setup friction.

Please note that you still need to enable Seer before Seer will process any of your data. By enabling Seer, you grant consent for Seer data processing. Our data processing commitments have not changed when it comes to Seer:

• AI-generated output from your data is shown only to you, not other customers;
• Your data is not used to train generative AI models without your express consent; and
• We process your data only via trusted subprocessors that are not allowed to use your data to train their own models.

Teams that want to turn off Seer features can go to Settings → Organization → General Settings → Enable Generative AI Features and disable the feature toggle.
