MCP server monitoring is now GA. You can instrument most server-side JavaScript SDK based MCP servers with one line of instrumentation code within your MCP SDK implementation wrapMcpServerWithSentry(McpServer).

Once enabled, Sentry will show you:

• Transport usage (HTTP, SSE, stdio, etc.)
• Client activity (which client made the request)
• Tool calls and resources (arguments, results, latency, failures)
• Performance metrics (duration, throughput, error rate)

This makes it easier to debug request failures, identify slow calls, and spot usage anomalies without stitching logs and metrics together.
